The Cheadle College is embarking upon an exciting new level three Sports curriculum from September 2018.  For those students interested in pursuing a career in sport and football, the College has entered in to a partnership agreement with Manchester City Football Club’s foundation, City in the Community (CITC) to deliver and coach the rising stars of the future.

The BTEC Level 3 extended diploma in Sport will not only  give students the opportunity to be coached by CITC’s professionals,  but also provide a variety of enhanced opportunities including, the chance to take part in a volunteering programme at the Etihad, an overseas tour and access to  guest speakers from the club.

Lisa McKay, City in the Community Education Manager said:
‘We are delighted to be partnering with The Cheadle College to offer an innovative BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma Sport programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for 16-18 year olds within the local area to continue their education after leaving school whilst taking part in an excellent football curriculum. We look forward to welcoming new students to The Cheadle College in the very near future.’
