Art, Craft & Design


 The course is organised as a series of structured projects, these are designed to help you develop your skills and knowledge in Art & Graphics.

You will be introduced to a wide range of materials, techniques and processes. You will develop ideas and final pieces. Materials and processes include drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, mixed-media, clay & Photoshop.

You will also research a wide range of contemporary and historical artists and designers work, it is essential to understand how & why create work, this will help you to understand current trends in the workplace.

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, covering a wide range of subject areas. These must include English Language and Maths.  Two of the subjects should be a grade 6.

An art qualification at GCSE is preferred but not always essential.
