The Early Years Educator Level 3 Diploma (City & Guilds)

This Apprenticeship is designed for learners interested in the Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Educator. Learners will be required to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of early years education and care, including that they can support and promote children's early education and development, plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepares them for school, make accurate and productive use of assessment, develop effective and informed practice, safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children, work in partnership with the key person, colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals.

The Children and Young People’s Workforce L2 Certificate is the foundation course if you are interested in working with children aged 0-5 years. It will introduce you to the necessary skills and knowledge required to progress to the level 3 Advanced Diploma.

PLAYWORK – Level 2

LEVEL 2 INTERMEDIATE APPRENTICESHIP

The course combines assignments and observation of practical experience in the workplace. The employment award comprises of three units. The diploma has 12 mandatory units with a variety of optional units.

The course combines assignments and observation of practical experience in the workplace. The employment award comprises of three units. The diploma has 13 mandatory units with a variety of optional units.

This qualification is for those members of the school workforce who directly support teaching and learning of pupils in schools in an area that requires specialist knowledge and skills.

SPORT AND ACTIVE LEISURE – Level 2

This award aims to provide the skills and knowledge required to work in leisure centres, coaching clubs, sports halls, swimming pools and stadia.

This level 2 qualification is aimed at those members of the schools workforce who directly support the teaching and learning of pupils or students that require specialist knowledge and skills, for example supporting pupils or students with learning disabilities and are supervised in their work.
