Health and Social Care BTEC Level 3 Diploma

BTEC Level 3 Diploma

The BTEC in Health and Social Care is a two year course equivalent to 3 A Levels. The course will lead to a highly specialized work-related qualification where you will gain the knowledge, understanding and skills to prepare you to progress to employment or continue to study in Higher Education.

The course combines assignments and observation of practical experience in the workplace. The employment award comprises of three units. The diploma has 12 mandatory units with a variety of optional units.

Advanced Apprenticeship

This apprenticeship meets the needs of employers and provides a vocational pathway into the provision of Children’s Physical Activity and School Sport delivery and development. It will enable you to meet the demand for suitably qualified people with the knowledge, understanding and competency to deliver, plan, organise and assess the learning of children in a range of environments including the community and schools.

SUPPORTING TEACHING AND LEARNING IN SCHOOLS

LEVEL 2, Certificate , Apprenticeship

This level 2 qualification is aimed at those members of the schools workforce who directly support the teaching and learning of pupils or students that require specialist knowledge and skills, for example supporting pupils or students with learning disabilities and are supervised in their work.
