Intermediate Level 2

Business and Administration is aimed at those individuals who wish to work in the world of business and develop skills to enable them to establish a long-term career path.

As an Intermediate business administration, your exact duties will depend on your employer. It’s likely that you’ll be working with a team or member of staff to handle various tasks.

You may be typing up board meeting documents, putting financial information together in spreadsheets, sending the daily post, negotiating with customers, managing projects or coordinating events.

This sort of work requires a strong sense of responsibility, accuracy and attention to detail.

The Business and Administration framework comprises:

  • Level 2 Certificate in Business and Administration (Competence)
  • Business Technical Certificate Level 2
  • Functional Skills English, Maths and ICT Level 1

How you will learn

You will be taught by experienced and enthusiastic tutors. This will be enhanced by a minimum of 30 hours per week of appropriate employment.

How you will be assessed

You will be assessed continually throughout your learning to confirm your competence milestones and achievements.

Special entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements and prior achievement will be accredited.

Progression opportunities

The Apprenticeship provides an excellent foundation to L3/HE or further career aspirations in business related employment – Customer Service, ICT, Sales, Marketing.
